Tiny wild lives are facing life-threatening challenges this spring and summer. When they get injured or lose their parents, they depend on your generosity to grow strong and return to the wild. Donate now to save wild babies.
Wildlife living in urban areas face many challenges and dangers, such as busy roads, loss of habitat, pollution, pet predation, and unsecured garbage. The Wildlife Rescue Association of British Columbia works to mitigate this impact on wildlife.
Since 1979, we’ve operated a wildlife hospital and a support centre in Burnaby, BC. Our main goals are to rehabilitate wildlife impacted by urban life, and to empower communities to coexist harmoniously with wildlife through education and outreach.
With a team of professional wildlife rehabilitators and an army of volunteers, we provide temporary refuge and care to injured birds, bats, and other wildlife, treating close to 5,000 animals each year.
